An autumn holiday on the Dachstein begins where summer stops hurrying: from September the light turns golden, the larches glow, and the high trails belong again to those who love them. Golden Trails is our package for exactly these weeks — when the sauna forest has its finest season and the views are at their clearest.

The hiking trails around Ramsau stay walkable deep into autumn, many alpine huts serve until early October, and stable high-pressure weather brings the clearest mountain views of the year. For many of our guests, autumn has quietly become their favourite time to travel.
